We are a mobile coffee bar so we don’t have a permanent brick & mortar. We do pop-up sometimes so keep an eye out for those on the website or social media posts. In the meantime, you can interact with us by booking us for events, registering for a class with us, or joining our coffee refill program!

Absolutely! If you don’t live in Salida, we’ll travel to your coffee shop and teach behind your own bar. We’ve taught as many as 12 baristas at one time. Inquire at info@compactcoffee.co

An hour, but plan for an hour and a half if you want to stick around to chat & drink all the coffees you practiced making.

Not at all. You only need to want to learn.

Nope, but feel free to bring your own equipment if you’d like! We will also be selling the equipment we have in our online store.

We do not! We showcase a new roaster once a month. We always sample a roaster’s current offerings before we choose a single origin to bring into our refill program for the following month. It’s the best part of our job is to pick coffee for you all!

We’re part-timers. We spend about 2-3 months per year traveling in our van.
