Reuse / Refill / Compost

When we started Compact Coffee, we knew we didn’t want to add waste as a business. Every decision we make is filtered by questions about whether something can be reused, refilled or composted. Notably, we pride ourselves in leaving no trace. When we’ve done events, we would pack in ceramic & glassware or bring compostable cups that we’d collect to compost responsibly.
In 2020, we started a local coffee refill program where we deliver whole bean coffee into our airtight containers on doorsteps to avoid single use coffee bags from going into the landfill.

We are very passionate about reducing waste & spend a lot of our time educating to inspire other coffee shops, even individuals, to make important changes to their lifestyle.
